Theme Day: Water

To these small boys, water means sea, means fishing. Is there a small boy anywhere in the world who doesn't love to fish? Here are just two in the Menton port of Garavan.

Today is Theme Day with 179 other cities taking part. Do click on their links below to see how City Daily Photo bloggers throughout the world over have interpreted the theme of water - there are so many inspiring and wonderful photographs - do go visit.

  9. Great choice Jilly, it certainly brings back happy memories to most of us!

There must be a few falls in the water with kids around. I know the shops around the harbours of Cassis and Sète always stock kids clothes for those who find themselves soaking wet after such incidents!

  10. Jilly, my photo is out for Avignon now.

I have visited quite a few blogs this morning, I am surprised that no-one so far has appeared to remember it's April Fool's day...

  12. A lovely photo; such concentration!

I must have been an odd one out; as a small boy I thought fishing was boring... well waiting anyway. I used to go swimming and only when my father started catching fish did I sit next to him and join in.
