Tree Decoration

We are near the entrance to the Old Cemetery - looking over a roof of the Old Town - we see the old port of Menton on the right and Italy to the left.

The tree holds on to its seed pods - small round balls that decorate it so beautifully. Does anyone know the name of this tree?

Spectacular chromatic composition: the roof tiles, the dark tree branches, the sea and the sky, the hills and the old port!

I really like the way you say "WE are near the entrance to the old cemetary".
It sort of makes me (and others) feel I am there with you.

It is -7C and snowing in Calgary today. What are we doing here?

I'm glad to be here with you (us, we as H.Peter says). It's lovely, but I don't know what it is.

I see your trees are just beginning their transformation. It is a beautiful scene looking out to sea.

Am I wrong if I think it's possible "to smell" Spring time? For sure this is what your photos let us to picture

From wherever we look at, it's a rapture, Ravissement. I find the French word more beautiful.

Isn't that a horse chestnut?

Late in replying but I don't think it's horse chestnut. Wrong shape tree - I think?
