ReplyDeleteThat clorful windmill is fantastic. We call it "FerFereh" in Persian. It is a word that usually kids use ;)
Sarah, I looked it up and see it's sometimes called a whirligig. I always remember it as a windmill tho. I love the word FerFereh. It 'sounds' right!

ReplyDeleteAnd both are appropriated, they "live" together well Jilly. Apricale is not yet a window-town for tourists....just an old town where people young and old live for true. Authentic with an "heart".

ReplyDeleteI'll just comment on the quality of your photo. The light was difficult there with bright and dark zones - your photo comes out as a beauty with stone and moss details sharp as they should be!
