Rue Longue

This was taken in the lower part of the Old Town, in the rue Longue, this morning. We are almost at the archway which you can see taken from the other side - HERE.

  1. Oh, so very, very beautiful. I would like to live in a place like that (sans tourists, of course).

There's the hanging laundry that I love to see in these old towns again :)

And did anyone else notice those 3 lamp shades on the left hand side of the street? The ones with the adorable Christmas motif? :-D

  6. Great atmosphere - this takes me there à tout de suite. Somehow even the electrical conduits don't look out of place...

  7. I spent several minutes just luxuriating in the thought of living on this street. The whole European take on things makes me relax. Thanks for posting, Jilly. You continue to provide me with inspiration.

  9. Such pretty colors. They should "inspire" the people who are rehabilitating the old streets of the Ecusson in Montpellier. Much more lively than our white white white walls :-))
