The Cat Show - Beauty

As a past breeder, exhibitor and judge of Old English Sheepdogs, I appreciated the amount of work that has gone into the coat of this beautiful cat. And I was astounded at how well-behaved all the cats were. They had to be handled by complete strangers - ie the stewards and the judges - and they didn't turn a hair, pardon the pun. Nothing like the cats I know around here...

Oh! That is a huge cat! And so much fur. Beautiful, though. Nice photo.

That is one gorgeous kitty, and from me, a dog lover, that is a compliment. I can imagine the work gone into his coat.

There is nothing worse than the screech of a cat that does not want to be handled. I had to accompany Julie's cat to the vet once and had to sit in a small waiting room with what I referred to thereafter as the psycho-cat.

Both the handler and the cat are beauties. You are such a fine documentary photographer, Jilly.

What a fluffy, puffy cat! She's a beauty - that goes for the cat and the owner! Is that you, Jilly?

Good lord, the cat looks bigger than she does. I would be concerned about fangs, claws and its evident bad attitude.

That is quite a specimen.

A great photo of two beauties!

I am not sure there's enough money involved in being a cat judge. Our Kittykins can get an attitude when she doesn't want to be held. Great portraits though. What breed is this Jilly???

Virginia, I'm not very up on my cat breeds and next year I'll note them! This tho, I'm pretty sure, is a Persian cat.

Oh wow, that's a beauty! Having had many cats myself, I'm quite astonished every time I go to a show and see how well behaved they can be.

Oh come on, it does like she has her hand up its backside and can waggle the paws with her fingers. But while they were making the puppet, surely they could have made the cat smile?

I think that Ham, joking, is not far from the truth... But she's a real beauty!

These cats have the strangest faces.
I'll stick with my neighborhood strays.
Enjoy your new camera!

It's a big but strange looking cat. It looks like its face has been stuck to a window!
Not as pretty as Marmalade. I've not tried picking her up though. I think I might get a few bites and scratches if I did.
