The Arabian Horses - the Young Colt
Those gorgeous Arabians were in Menton over the weekend for the annual Mediterranean and Arab Countries Arabian Horse Championship.

Such a beautiful animal! It reminds me that all I wanted as a kid was an Arabian of my own.
I grew up with "The Black Stallion" books and have loved Arabian horses ever since.

Like Dina, I was a Black Stallion girl. Arabians are so elegant, so perfectly chiseled, and just the right size for me. What class, too.

These are simply gorgeous, Jilly.
He has the unmistakeable head structure of an Arabian. Julie and I enjoy going to the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Festival in the winter, and she has posted photos of it in the past on her Scottsdale Daily Photo site. I am sure that an Arabian Horse show ont he Riviera would be quite an event.
