Hill Village and Sea...

The main photo shows Gorbio village with the sea below and Menton, of course. The other one shows the village taken from above.

La photo principale montre le village de Gorbio dominant Menton et la mer bien sûr. L'autre photo montre le village pris du dessus.

  1. If an angel came to me in my sleep and said where would you love to live and I will grant you that wish, well it would be in Gorbio hill village over looking the sea.

  2. Well, we are going to walk this village together and have lunch at the Beausejour. I'm so looking forward to that.

  3. To feel that one knows a place from your posts: the streets, the events, the people... these views are quite grand with a perspective of the terrain and the beauty of Gorbio's placement... lovely

  11. It is beautiful. I see in the index list at the right that you have shown Gorbio 257 times. It deserves it. (Is it the place where you showed the trompe l'oeuil painting of the church as it was being done?)

  12. Thanks so much for all the kind comments.

Julie, you are right of course!

    Malyss - see you soon!

Jack, goodness, have I posted Gorbio that many times? Well I live in Gorbio so that accounts for it. Love this village. I actually live two kilometres below in the commune of Gorbio, not the old village itself. And yes, it's the village with the trompe l'oeil church facade.
