The Folly

This strange building stands high up on Cap Martin.  Originally built for a Mr. Singer, who started building in before the 2nd World War. He tragically died in a concentration camp and it
remained unfinished for years. Later it was bought by the owner of a celebrated restaurant on Cap Martin, Le Pirate, who renovated it into the apartments we see today. Thankyou for Virginia Lacasse and Martine Quaranta for this information.

  1. Thanks, good to know! Walked a lot on Avenue Sir-Winston Churchill and looked up at that house in October last year.

  2. It looks quite distinctive, and stands out well against the sky.
