  1. It all looks so ancient. It looks like it was taken several hundred years ago -- about 1500 AD. It is an amazing photo.

  4. No, I didn't try opening it, Olivier. I think it is probably the back gate of a house - in the Old Town. Had it opened, I would have been surprised and perhaps the owner might have been angry!

    All this means I didn't have the courage!

    I wouldn't mind coming back as a door - good life i reckon just hanging around all day watching the world go by!!!!
