Roquebrune village - 15

Kids play football everywhere - here are a couple kicking a ball about in rue de la Fontaine.

  1. I always love visiting your blog...I feel so much at home here. It looks familiar in some kind of way I can't put my finger on.

  2. The reason Europeans are so gifted at soccer (your football) is because they do just that---play everywhere, without the cost of uniforms, equipment, and arenas. Wish it was more popular in the US, altho it has grown considerably over the years. I love the look of the street, a somewhat tunnel effect.

  3. They are allowed? Here because everything is protected you practically have to get permission from the Marie to open your windows!

  4. Kids sure love football...and so do most grown up men! Lovely street shot there. Hope they didn't break any windows!

Sorry for not visiting your site for such a long time but here at TORUŃ DP we have been very busy! Doesn't mean we have forgotten about your site though!

  5. Soccer in the streets is fine until a ball comes flying at your house and misses a window by an inch ! Another charming thing in these hill villages is that because there are many gentle slopes children like to go skateboarding down them ...
