Village Wedding Revisited (49) - the Bride & Groom

Our last day revisiting the village wedding and so we feature the stars of the show - the beautiful bride and the handsome groom.

The first shows off the bride's beautiful dress. And take a look at the second one, a kiss for the bride - and notice the little girl with handfuls of confetti rose petals. She was featured here.

A big thank you to Patricia and Walter and every good wish for long life and happiness together.

  2. I have visions of you running hither and yon to be able to get so many pictures of this spectacular wedding. You must have been very busy. Did you use your tripod for any of these? The dress is really quite beautiful. I had to smile at the second photo where the groom is stepping on the tip of the manhole cover. I hope this isn't symbolic !! ;-)

  3. Très jolie robe de mariée et sûrement très jolie mariée aussi. Tes photos font très ambiance de films par ex avec Hanin..... je trouve.

  4. I do like these overhead ones. Her dress is given the full treatmnet like this, see it in all it's glory. Really do things with such panache here.

  5. Interesting that all good things must also come to an end.

I would rather be doing most anything except sitting in the house looking at the sun shine on all this snow. Eating cookies sounds good to me.

I don't know about you, but my head reels with ideas and things I either want to do, should do, or wish I did — that I don't have much time left to do anything but take a nap.

    Carpe Diem!

  6. I has been a fun wedding to observe. Your subject was well chosen and your shots are clear and telling of the story.
    Good work.

  8. Je ne me rendais pas compte que les cérémonies de mariage étaient si différentes en France.... Faut dire qu'il n'y en a plus très souvent, hélas.

Jilly, je t'ai taguée sur mon blog aujourd'hui (grâce à Olivier :-)))
