The Resting Place


Statuary on top of the Chapel des Penitents Blancs provides a resting place for seagulls. Taken from the cemetery directly above the Old Town.

I suppose it could also be a toilet? Enlarged it looks like it has been used for that purpose.

Seagulls and statues go together all over the world, and like Abe said, they use the statues for toilets.

Beatiful view, the sea and the sky are only an foggy background.
Seagulls have a thing for statues even here. It's hard to take some photos without birds...
