Street Theatre - the Pedestrians
This is the finale of yesterday's Italian street theatre. The boy, lifted aloft, has a white face.
Note the two people walking in front of the sitting audience - the lady with the gold bag and the man with grey hair. Both oblivious, it seems, to what is going on.

Sounds both fascinating and fun. I've never experienced street theater. Music, yes, but not theater.
Those who're just not interested don't seem to care that they're blocking other people's views either.
Fun! They have street theater here, too from time to time!
Street theater may be funny and interesting but it's not compulsory. I usually watch, if I have nothing better to do, and snap some photos.
When I am tired of it, I walk away trying not to disturb...

Well in Birmingham we've never heard of street theater so I"m guessing everyone would be mesmerized. Then again we've got a lot of dumbos who'd probably do what those two were doing.

I never saw serious street theatre and would have walked by thinking the people were either engaged in some sort of battle or had mental issues. Maybe those two are from Brookville?
Looks as if there's another photographer in the crowd. Do you find many people taking photographs when you're out and about?
It does seem strange, doesn't it that some people can totally ignore their surroundings.
Brattcat, yes there are always photographers in Menton and in Monte Carlo, both picturesque places with tourists so it's easy for me to snap away and not really be noticed.
Oh well, maybe they had someplace else to go. But it's a hard scene to ignore!
Very interesting! I like street theatre, but we have almost none here in my town in provincial southern Italy!
