Procession Votive - the Silhouette

Copyright 2009 Menton Daily Photo. All rights reserved

The crowd is following the effigy we saw yesterday. Notice the tiny silhouette of crown and cherubs which has already passed through the archway.

You can see the crown and cherubs on top of the effigy in the smaller photo.

  1. Good one, J.

The lacy umbrella, the lacy form of the tiny silhouette, the lady's "knitted" hat, the panama hat: altogether a very fortunate catch. Just a snap. You could hardly pose it. Well done.

  2. There is something special about these straw hats. I suppose they are made from vinyl these days but they look like straw. Nice photography, Jilly.

I spent one day restoring Patty's computer. She clicked on an email that could not be delivered and was returned. It was a worm that locked her computer and wouldn 't let her do anything. The drive had to be reformatted and returned to its new condition. She lost everything on the computer. I feel sorry for her as it takes a lot of time to put her things back on the computer that she had saved on an external hard drive. Beware folks. If you send an email and it comes back, you should not open it.
