This is a great photo. I love the solitude of the fisherman and the sea, and the spot of light near the horizon.
I have posted some photos of people fishing in the surf on our beach in Costa RIca, but the Pacific Ocean is never as still as the water in this photo.
What good friends the horizon and the sea are in this image. So compatible. No wonder the fisherman is content to be in their company.
After almost 14 days of constant rain and grey skies this silvery clam image image reminds me.... I still want to live in the South of France.

The lone fisherman looks so peaceful...why is it whenever I've tried to fish I get anxious and antsy and have to find something else to do???
