I posted railway station too. So sad to see that homeless person.
Outstanding entry ! Much respect upon pointing out. Have to admit, that I took nearly a similar picture not too far into the past, as the city provides way too many such sights.
A safe road ahead for you and a good start into the new month and week as well.

I had a sleeping homeless man yesterday. Maybe they noticed yet thought he would want them not to fuss.

A touching image. I helped a 15yr old homeless lad the other day. I gave him busfare money and a ride to the station. And listened to him---I hope I helped. MB
Too cold and snowy for most homeless people to live in our city!
Very appropriate theme day post. Besides that I like it a lot because of the contrast between the "haves" and the "have nots."

I've been doing some reading on psychological interpretations we make, and the homeless don't make out too well with the majority of citizens. Wish we could dignify their existence and eradicate homelessness. Sigh!
Sad but I guess we get used to it because there are so many. And I have this feeling it isn't going to get any better. :-(
Wow! What a great way to participate in this month's theme and make a statement. It's amazing how often we walk around, over, or away from "the least of these your brethren". Thank you for this, Jilly.
Excellent post for today, Jilly. The contrast between the well-dressed young women and the man lying there, ignored by them, is heartbreaking.
And in the close-up, "Ce sac est ...durable..." reinforces the idea that he will need that sack for a long time.
what happens to the homeless during the winter in Menton, Jilly? Do they have shelters in which they can sleep?
