The Road Less Travelled

Yesterday, we had steps to walk up. Today we have steps to walk down - although we could take the narrow traverse to the right and then we might be on the road less travelled...

The Old Town is a myriad of little streets, up, down, through tunnels, turn left, turn right. It's easy to get lost. Of course, that's the best thing to do: get lost. Wander - enjoy - and see where the road takes you.

petite rue au milieu du village, le plus dur cela doit être le retour quand il faut remonter cette belle petite cote ;o)

Delicious little street, walking down is a plus, "remonter" not so much.
It must be quite easy to find a less traveled path or... get lost.

That's exactly what I do when in a new place...wander...and explore the roads less traveled.

How many times I walked in a street to realize there was no way out, and being compeled to get back and find an other exit. That's the game. A labyrinth game.
I love it.

Yes, love the idea!

Yesterday's colours were a bit over the top but today's are all softness and harmony. Just beautiful.

I would agree with your previous post that "real luxury is time".

I was also most impressed by the pictures of the man sifting pebbles. It looks like a back-breaking and never-ending job to sift an entire beach, or even a portion of it. What a brave man!

I'm so glad you take us along on your adventures, Jilly. I love all of the plants. They turn the streets into little parks. This is an enchanting shot.

This is exactly the kind of places I love to walk. You can discover so many interesting things when walking along these narrow passage ways.

I enjoy looking at all the different textures in this photo, esp. the brick, pebbles, rocks, as well as the "softer" objects.

Jilly I would love to wander these streets along with you. Wouldn't we have fun! This one today is magical. I would have to stop at each door and take a photograph! Hope you got one of that little tricycle too.

The colors are looking equally as good as they did yesterday.

You know if you just alternated these two images I'd still be happy. Who can not smile at these. What a lovely decision to make up or down.
