Rue Longue -Singers Wanted!

There are three old posters stuck on doors along Rue Longue - all wanting singers. Here are two of them.

Interesting how the English word 'wanted' is yet another that has entered the French language.

  1. Sometimes all you need for a photo is an idea. This is a good one and finely developed. Have a nice weekend.

  3. They may want singers but they sure don't want me. I could clear a room very quickly.

  4. I thought the French word police were pretty vigilant about these things. '~)

B2, as the Godfather you can fill the room or clear it, whatever makes you happy.

  8. They should not print "wanted" in English because then people like me can read the sign, and they surely do not want me either.

  11. In the first poster, I read they accept every body, trained to sing or not, just a good will is necessary.
I believe that singing in tune is the less they can ask for !
Not for me, I like singing, but for myself.
    Have a nice Sunday, Jilly.
