A Sliver of Silver

It's late afternoon in Ventimiglia. The sun sends a sliver of silver light across the water. We are looking towards Menton and beyond, in the far distance, is Monaco. It's time to go home.

Indeed this is lovely. Look how the mountains echo the clouds' shapes.

Great sky. Perfect exposure. Your new camera is being put to excellent use.

Thank you for your dedication of the boxer to Glenda on your Riviera dogs site. She is delighted.

As Sharon wrote on March 25, 2010; "oooooh!" I'm trying to determine how it is that you manage to be in the right place at the right time and have your camera ready! :-) Must be a gift! Thank you for sharing!

I love that view! We stayed in a wonderful small guest house in Ventimiglia once a few years ago and this was the view from the bedroom and dining room! We also enjoyed a short visit to Menton!
