Nosey!

This rather strange sculpture is to be found in the gardens of the Palais Carnoles in Menton.

It's called 'Question d'Arome' (Question of Aroma) and was created by the sculptor, Sacha Sosno in 1996. Click on the link to read about this well known local artist.

  1. You do have a nose for the unusual, Jilly. It would be hard to stick your nose up at this one.

  2. I love this sculpture; it's both interesting and funny. I have a real appreciation for sculptors who work with marble. It's so incredibly gorgeous, but also so difficult to work with. And also not the most portable of mediums! It seems like almost a sort of calling because such hard physical labor is involved.

Thanks for showing us the detail work as well as the entire sculpture in its setting. I'll certainly be looking at more of Sosno's work.
