Promenade le Corbusier - Posts and Chains

We're at the beginning of Promenade le Corbusier, named for the famous architect who built his cabanon here. We are actually facing the wrong way - the walk goes from here towards Monaco (behind me) - so we are looking towards Menton which you can just see between the first and second posts. I just liked the way the posts and chains created these shadows so had to turn around...

~~~~~
Nous sommes au début de la Promenade Le Corbusier, du nom du célèbre architecte qui a bâti son cabanon ici. Nous sommes effectivement dans le mauvais sens - la promenade part d'ici en direction de Monaco (derrière moi) - nous sommes donc tournés vers Menton que vous pouvez voir juste entre le premier et le deuxième poteau. J'aime particulièrement la façon dont les poteaux et les chaînes créent ces ombres et j'ai tourné pour les photographier...
  1. Looks GREEK tome. Very nice and also with spring temperatures.
  2. I'm so glad you did. It would be tempting to balance on the shadow of the chain like a tight-rope walker.
  3. Towns along the Mediterranean seem to have grand seaside promenades.
  7. I'm not too fond of those pillars and chains to tell you the truth - but from a photographic point of view you did well in spotting this perspective and line of shadows.
