Terraced garden


This terraced, walled garden at Cap Martin faces the sea and looks towards Menton.

    Is this in someone's backyard? I like seeing what people do when they have an upslope for a yard. This looks like a beautiful garden. I have a downslope in my yard and I wonder what to do with it.

    Yes, the garden belongs to one of these hours - or perhaps it's a co-propriete, as they call it here - and they share the garden. Doubt it tho. Suspect it's a garden belonging to one of the houses. So much of this area is on a hillside so much gardening is done in this way - up and down or down and up!
