Sainte Agnès - 4

In his plastic bag: a baguette and a bottle of wine. What more could anyone want? I'd like a nice fresh goat cheese to go with them. What would you choose?

  2. Great photo! I would keep the bottle of wine but not the baguette (I eat some pain complet). I would take the goat cheese too and some fruit. :-)

  3. I agree with Marie. As for fruit, I would like some grapes. And a lot of sun. Watching the sea, down there...

  4. Can I change the wine for a (very) cold beer? ;)

    Very nice photo!

  5. I would have the wine, the goat cheese, the baguette, and fresh fruit. I would find a lovely spot outdoors, with a bit of a breeze and a fabulous view.

Jilly, thanks for visiting Portland (OR) Daily Photo on ABC Wednesday to see my J is for Joy photo.

  6. I was thinking cheese after I read "What more could anyone want?" :-)

I took a closer look at that picture and man...the details are so interesting! That house on the right built literally into the rock...with that little piece of rock jutting out. That grill work on the window on the right and that sign for Espace Vitraux (what does that mean?). The street sign...the street lamps...

I can imagine this little rue must get quite chilly in the winter.

  7. Ann, the Espace Vitraux is an exhibition space for a worker in glass - ie his atelier or studio.

And yes, these streets get cold in winter, especially when it's windy.

  10. In addition to the cheese< I'd like a nice, cold pear!
I love this shot. . . .I love to take photos of streets and alleys like this. We have nothing like them in the States.
