Fête de la Branda - Meet the Baker



Meet Kevin le Meur (with the tattoo on his neck) the baker who makes all the wonderful breads at Au Baiser du Mitron (The Baker's Kiss). He was born into a family of artisan bakers drawing its origins in the South-East of France and in Britain for over four generations. Kevin worked professionally for several years abroad in Russia, Sweden and Canada and now creates his amazing temptation which he sells in Menton's market - and there is always a queue!

You'll also find Kevin's breads at the Restaurant Mirazur in Menton - Mauro Colagreco's famous 2 Star Michelin restaurant.

Voici Kevin Le Meur ( avec son tatouage sur le cou) le boulanger qui produit tous les pains extraordinaires  Au  Baiser du Mitron. Il est né dans une famille de boulangers artisanaux qui trouve ses origines dans le Sud-Est de la France et en Grande-Bretagne depuis plus de quatre générations. Kevin a travaillé professionnellement pendant plusieurs années à l'étranger, en Russie, en Suède et au Canada et aujourd'hui il crée de surprenantes tentations qu'il vend sur le marché de Menton - où il y a toujours une file d'attente!

  4. Now I know the work for baker in French. His face and hands are so expressive. Most Americans wouldn't appreciate his craft. What, no hamburger buns?
