Menton in July

Gone are the empty beaches...this is Menton in July. Young, old, families, lovers, wheelchair bound but most of all - colour, colour, colour.

Tomorrow...a place of peace - and only a few minutes walk away.

~~~~~
Adieu les plages vides ... C'est Menton en Juillet. Des jeunes, des vieux, des familles, des amoureux, des gens en fauteuil roulant, mais surtout - de la couleur,de la couleur et encore de la couleur.
Demain ... un lieu de tranquillité - à seulement quelques minutes à pied.
  8. Our beaches in Tamarindo, Costa Rica are never crowded like this. I was in Southern California last weekend, however, and the glorious weather brought out huge beach crowds. It took an hour to find a place to park at Newport Beach on Sunday.
    Beautiful photo, Jilly, but tell me, how did you find a frame with so few topless people? I remember it being much more exposed at the beach. I was really challenged when I took some photos for my young nephew's "Flat Stanley" project. I did not know how topless beaches would go down in Iowa! (Flat Stanley loved it!)
  12. What a great beach scene! Reminds me of those illustrated books like Richard Scarry's for kids where you see people in various locations doing just about everything...
