one of the most beautiful towns on the French Riviera
Castellar is an ancient perched village 6 kilometres above Menton. It sits on a narrow ridge with steep valleys on all sides. Here's a pretty courtyard on the main street - on the right is the entrance to a small atelier selling pottery.

It is very quaint, although it looks like it cannot make up its mind about whether the courtyard is supposed to be stone or grass, so it is some of each.
A quaint little corner of the world. Interesting that Dave and I used the same adjective to describe it.
If I could draw or paint, this composition would suit me perfectly.
As I draw and paint, I tell you, your feeling for the composition is great!!! And the colors of your photos will make any painter sleepless)
The colour palette is wonderful...lovely composition too.
Charming is the word that pops into my head!
Beautiful. I like to creep up on these places and take close-ups, too...I see a couple of good still lifes there! :) Didja?
